May is National Building Safety Month

President Obama declared May National Building Safety Month to raise awareness of disaster safety and prevention, fire safety and awareness, green building, and backyard safety.  The President stated, “Building safety and fire prevention officials, architects, engineers, design professionals, builders, and others in the construction industry work everyday to ensure the sound construction of buildings and the safety of our citizens.”
