Several home construction projects starting

Several home building and development firms have begun planning or construction on projects all over Austin.  President of MileStone Community Builders Garrett Martin stated, “We’re excited about 2011 and 2012.  I think a lot of other builders are cash-constrained, which gives us an opportunity to go out and put lots on the ground in A-plus locations.”

MileStone has housing development projects starting in several locations.  One development will include 89 homes at Riverside and Fargo Drive.  Other projects include a 60 to 70 home development near RR 620/RR 2222, two developments near Slaughter Lane in South Austin, and a community development with 115 luxury homes near Parmer Lane and close to Cedar Park.

As home buying interest and sales has picked up over the past few months, other home building companies have begun planning projects too.  Builders like Avalonpark Texas and Standard Pacific Homes also have home development construction plans in the works.
