Software helps Austin architect finish Enfield Road project

Austin-based architect Kit Johnson is currently working on a construction project on Enfield Road to build a 25-unit condo project, and he is using the help of a software called ArchiCAD.

The renovation project to transform Enfield Road, which was covered in graffiti and trash, into a beautiful area full of luxury condos began in 2007 but was stalled because of legal and financial problems. Now, those problems have been solved, and Johnson is moving on with the project.

By using the ArchiCAD software that is manufactured by BIM, Johnson has been able to make easy changes to the construction project, such as moving a door or window, without wasting a lot of time, money, and effort.
