Burglars use cars to break into garage doors

Burglars in a Washington town are using a new tactic in order to break into homes. There have recently been a few break-ins that have occurred by smashing a car into a garage door and then slipping underneath and attempting to take valuables from inside the garage.

In the month of February, police in the area reported more than 41 cases of this and six of them occurred over the past weekend.

The thieves have used different vehicles to do this and many of them have been reported stolen beforehand. Police have said that they are making some progress in the investigation.
